You can just imagine the pain and injury that a player can get when he plays without the baseball gloves. Bruised palms, in could be the least that a player has to worry. And yet the first baseball gloves appeared only in the 1870's. Before that baseball players has to catch the ball with bare hands, something that we can not imagine today. When baseball gloves started to appear it was made from scraps of leather that were sewn together.

The first baseball gloves were not even designed to catch the ball but to cushion the player's hand by knocking the baseball glove to the ground. During the late 1800's players using baseball gloves were teased as sissies and other names that were embarrassing to the players. Eventually, sense prevailed. I like old things. My grandfather says that's why I come to visit him so much. That's not true though. I like to visit him because he tells me all sorts of stories. He's been around through some amazing times and he tells a good story. The History Channel should hire him. Recently, we got interested in vintage baseball gloves. I brought my laptop over and we spent one whole afternoon researching vintage baseball gloves. It was so much fun. Plus, I got to teach my grandfather a little bit about computers and the internet.

We looked at sites that sold vintage baseball gloves and couldn't believe all the ones that were out there. The vintage baseball glove market is alive and well. The Rawlings glove was by far the one most available. That made sense since the Rawlings glove is the official glove of the MLB, but Spaulding used to be. I saw quite a few of the Rawlings gloves that I would want to purchase, but they were a little too expensive for me. I liked all the Baseball gloves, but not prices.

My grandfather was not so impressed yet. He said if you talk to the old baseball gloves, then you need to look at the Nokona gloves. Nokona I discovered that a company that has made baseball gloves since 1934. They used to do other things, but if the global economic crisis began to hit, baseball gloves. Nokona gloves came with a long tradition of quality. My grandfather said when he played minor league baseball, the onlyBaseball gloves, Nokona gloves were going to use. The baseball glove was good enough for me.

He took his old baseball glove from the top floor. It 'was the coolest baseball glove. I could not believe he had his old baseball glove kept all these years. We spent a long time to recall his time in Little League baseball. He played for many years. Then we talked about him coming to see me play baseball when I was a child. I forgot that I bought my first glove.

TheGlove, I bought a glove Nokona. We went to the store and got out there. I showed him all the places online that you could get the glove Nokona hours. He could not believe that all are the baseball gloves. He asked me if I have my Wilson A2000 glove. I told him I thought it was somewhere in a closet. I'm surprised they did not come to me, the Wilson A2000 baseball glove for all his praise for the most Nokona. He said that I do not watch another glove, because I saw the Wilson A2000Glove. I do not remember it. My grandfather has a large memory.

I had a great time with my grandfather on this day, as always. Looking at the old baseball gloves brought a flood of memories of his youth and mine. I'm so happy to have someone like him in my life. My wife and I are expecting a baby in the fall and can not wait for the child to be his great-grandfather needs. I'm sure, male or female, he and I will be able to pass our love of baseball for the child. After severalGenerations in the family is something special.
